The streetlights was there first stage. Wilmington’s Westside taught them lessons they couldn’t learn in school, how to read people, survive conflict, and navigate a world that doesn’t offer second chances. The blocks are noisy, demanding, and relentless but it gives perspectives and stories worth telling.
Stepping into the studio for the first time, Dubcity discovered a new language. The booth became a sanctuary where they could translate everything they learned into music. Every beat, every line, carry’s tension, energy, and authenticity. 3 voices that can’t and wont be silenced.
